Custom directory	The resources indexed in PCEL arranged into a browsable directory designed by our team with intuitive headings and hierarchical structure.
MeSH directory	The resources indexed in PCEL arranged into a browsable directory of Medical Subject Headings (MeSH). MeSH 2005 in ASCII format, available from the National Library of Medicine (NLM), was used to produce this directory.
SNOMED CT directory	The resources indexed in PCEL arranged into a browsable directory of SNOMED CT concepts. SNOMED CT was obtained from the 2005AB release of the Unified Medical Language System (UMLS) available from the National Library of Medicine (NLM). The metathesaurus of the UMLS was used to map MeSH terms to SNOMED CT concepts.
EBM search	The EBM search returns results from Bandolier, Clinical Evidence, Cochrane Collaboration, National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, PRODIGY Knowledge and Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network.
